2017 Big-Buck Trail Cam Contest images may be submitted from Aug. 1 through Nov. 30, 2017. Submissions should be sent to the Photo submissions must be of wild Pennsylvania deer taken with trail cameras. The original image file taken by the camera should be submitted rather than a photograph of the image on your computer screen. Only photos taken during the month they were submitted will be considered. All submissions must include the photographer's first and last name and the county where the deer image was recorded. All photos submitted shall become property of the Game Commission. By submitting a photo into this contest, you grant the Game Commission the right to use, reproduce, store, transmit, communicate your submitted photo, in whole or in part, in any media, marketing, advertising or promotional materials. Game Commission employees are not eligible.

Individuals submitting photos are reminded that the use of bait to attract deer to your trail cam is unlawful in Disease Management Areas and discouraged elsewhere.

Winners will be selected monthly. Game Commission staff members will select a group of “contending” photos for each month on the first Tuesday of the following month starting Sept. 5 and ending Dec. 5. For instance, photos taken and submitted during August will be reviewed September 5. Once assembled, these contending photos will be placed on the Game Commission's Facebook page in a photo album. Facebook users will determine the winning photo by “liking” the image. The contest will select monthly winners and, at its conclusion, one overall winner. Trail cameras will be awarded to winners. The contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Facebook.
